Simply press Esc and the fps shoots right back up to 60.voila. The reason I think this is bizarre is because I don't think it is a performance issue as I have actually found an ingame fix for it. It will still do it sometimes when just in a menu.
Usually it is when a new area is loading or when I turn and look in a different direction.or just doing nothing. The real kicker is really strange, the game will randomly drop all the way down to 30fps and cap itself at that for no appearant reason. It is the cost for more stable gameplay without crashes. This isn't really too crazy since the game is likely going to have some heavier stutters with the criticalsections = 0 fix. sometimes it will dip to the 30s when it's really bad. So here is the issue, the game runs fine at 60fps 80% of the time.like usual, then the game will mysteriously drop down about 10-15 frames to the mid 40s usually. (It is also worth noting that prior to the recent NVSR compatability issues with the latest Win10 Fall Creators update the game ran completely fine without these issues) I assume none of these are related as the problem has persisted before and after the installation of these.Īny help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Okay so I wasn't going to post in a forum but I can't for the life of me find anyone with this issue on the internet anywhere. No Lag: Taking the most straightforward route to Rivet City along the river (Includes several firefights with SM, explosions, etc. Lag: First hallway of Rivet City Upper Deck (Also severe, dropping to an extremely laggy 30ish) No Lag: Looking literally anywhere else in Megaton Lag: Looking at the nuke in Megaton (This is by far the worst, with my frames starting at 60 and dropping anywhere from 14 to 30, with the latter having extreme stutter and lag) No Lag: Running in a straight line to Megaton Lag: Running through Springvale to Megaton I still receive random and severe ticks and it seems that the combination of all of these did absolutely nothing.
